Dry Manhattan

We have covered the history of the Manhattan before, as both the Sweet and Perfect variants. The Dry Manhattan just completes the canonical set. It is probably the least pleasing of the three, but will do in a pinch.

Gonna have to say, Jack Daniels though? thats for chucking down your neck (with coke if being particularly JD) and shouldn’t be anywhere near a cherry. WAAAAAYYYY too harsh for a manhattan IMHO.

Entry level that its easily got in tescos should be Woodfords reserve or Makers Mark. and work your way up from there. even Canadian club or buffalo trace give a better manhattan than JD.
