Dot

A favourite haunt of Oscar Wilde, Muhammad Ali, Winston Churchill, David Bowie, David Chipperfield and Albert Adrià, Hotel Café Royal was the beating heart of the London social scene for years. In 1937, Head Barman WJ Tarling’s wrote the Café Royal Cocktail Book. In it was the Dot, attributed to an unknown ‘G Matthews.’
