The Angel Face makes its printed debut in Harry Craddock’s 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book. This is a beautiful, balanced drink that relies on neither citrus nor sugar to make it great. Be careful though – the Angel Face is made of three full-strength spirits, so it is fully lethal, and more an angel of death than one of the heavenly choir.
