Strawberry Blonde

The Strawberry Blonde was invented in 2008 by Simon Difford at The Cabinet Room, London.

The Cabinet Room is actually a private bar that occupies the ground floor of Difford’s apartment. This is not a bar you can go to, buy drinks and get pissed in. Rather it is a private space where Simon entertains, creates, teaches and shares.

We cannot provide an address for this one because that would be pointless.

Hi DirtBag. On this occasion, I am not claiming invention. Simon Difford claims invention here: https://www.diffordsguide.com/cocktails/recipe/2201/strawberry-blonde. As with many cocktails though, names get re-used all the time, particularly with lesser-known drinks. The Aussie recipe you describe (which does not appear to involve actual strawberries) is completely different to this. Does that make sense?
