Canadian-born Seattle barman Jamie Boudreau was an early adopter of technology, and started running a cocktail blog back in 2004. The then took it up a gear with his cocktail making videos hosted by Small Screen. Most recently he has opened his own bar, Canon, in the central district of Seattle.
While in France, Boudreau tried a snifter of St Germain elderflower liqueur, and was inspired to mix the L’amour En Fuite (‘love on the run’), which he named after the 1979 film of the same name. The drink is very fresh tasting, and gets dual aromas from the St Germain and a trace of absinthe.
Canon can be found at 928 12th Ave, Seattle, WA, USA where one of the largest selections of whiskies in America can be found.
