Created in 2015 by celebrated mixologist Meaghan Dorman, The Bennett Cocktail takes a Gimlet and adds Angostura bitters to it. Dorman invented the drink while she was tending the bar at The Bennett in NYC. The Bennett was at 134 W Broadway #4062, but is now closed. Meaghan continues to mix drinks and win award after award for her work. I look forward to finding making of her drinks.
The Bennett Cocktail
- 50ml dry gin
- 6ml fresh lime juice
- 12ml simple syrup
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a slice of dried lime.
