Italian Margarita

Italian? Not really. The addition of Italian amaretto to a standard Margarita is pleasant, but the drink comes from the very American Club Bar at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. I once had the good fortune to stay at The Peninsula on someone else’s money where I happened to meet met actor/director Kevin Smith over breakfast. I also had a very odd conversion with another (nameless) actor whose only claim to fame was to have played the “… the leader of an alien world of fish people” on Star Trek: The Next Generation. While this liquor-fuelled chat was a one off for me, it later occurred to me that the one-time actor probably told the same story every night of his life.
