The Bay Breeze is also known as a Hawaiian Sea Breeze (or a Downeaster or a Paul Joseph), and is based on the original Sea Breeze cocktail of vodka, cranberry and grapefruit. In the Bay Breeze, the grapefruit is swapped for pineapple for a tropical twist. The Bay Breeze probably originates in Hawaii.
