The International Bartenders’ Association (IBA) run an annual competition to find the barman with the best cocktail. The Transylvanian Martini was entered as a competitive item in the 1994 competition. The winner that year was Yasufumi Shimosako with his Prime Stage, which is suprisingly similar to the Transylvanian Martini.

- 60ml vodka
- 20ml passion fruit liqueur
- 30ml pineapple juice

Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain in to a Martini glass. Garnish with a piece of fresh pineapple.
